5.3. Offline ThresholdsThese thresholds apply to a shop site and are based on transaction amount and transaction age in hours.
1. Transaction Amount
During the terminal activation process, you will receive a `maximumTransactionAmount` as part of the terminal configurations. For example, if a shop has a transaction amount threshold of 3,000,000 and has 4 POS systems, each POS will have a transaction amount threshold of 750,000 (3,000,000 divided by 4). The MRA will handle all the calculations and provide you with the transaction amount that each POS can handle offline.
2. Transaction Age in Hours
There are limits on how long you can transact offline, and you cannot exceed this set value. As such, the POS system must be programmed to enforce this threshold, alerting users when they need to reconnect to the server to continue processing transactions
These thresholds are upper limits that determine whether a POS can continue to transact offline (without connecting to the server). If either of the thresholds is exceeded, the POS will not be able to transact offline and will need to connect to the MRA server to continue processing transactions.
