5. Transacting OfflineThis is a process where Point of Sale (POS) systems are allowed to continue making transactions even when they cannot connect to the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) server in real-time. This situation might occur due to issues such as power outages, network problems, or server connectivity issues. During these times, all transactions are stored locally on the POS system. Once the POS regains the ability to connect to the server, the stored offline transactions are then sent to the MRA.
